What is Multiple Sclerosis?

Multiple Sclerosis or MS is as of this moment an incurable disease that affects the brain spinal cord and it can also affect the optic nerves in your eye

So what happens in MS

In MS your immune system starts to attack the myelin which is a protective sheath that wraps around the nerve fibres which in turn damages your nerves which mean your nerves can not function properly making it hard to move and feel normally

So what are the symptoms?

Their are many symptoms including

  • Trouble walking
  • Fatigue
  • Numbness and Tingling
  • Bladder and Bowel problems
  • Blurred or Double vision
  • Pain
  • Depression
  • Memory problems or Trouble Focusing

What causes MS

Doctors are unsure as to the main cause of MS but there plenty of theories raging from getting viral infections to injuries it’s also thought that people with a certain genes may have a higher risk of developing MS
